HCM 44000 - Health Care Legal and Ethical Issues

(3) This course will provide guidance and help students develop insight in dealing with common ethical dilemmas faced by health care organizations. Issues discussed will include: coping with staff shortages, transparency, management of conflict of interest, dealing with non-compliant patients, patient advocacy, institutional review boards and organizational ethics committees.
