ED 40500 - Educational Foundations & Classroom Environment
(3) An examination of historical philosophical theories and practices in education with a focus on trends and current school policies in Alaska and the nation, including teaching through culture and place-based teaching strategies. 20-hour practicum can include some virtual experiences. A field placement will require students to explore, experience, and describe a variety of teaching theories and classroom environments. Offered Fall. Professional Competencies: AKS 1, 2.
