ANS 31000 - Indigenous Well-Being and Ways of Knowing
(4) Through course activities, students examine cultural perspectives of human development and well-being of Indigenous peoples, with a specific focus on Native Ways of Knowing, Indigenous languages and culture-based education. Promotes cultural understandings in historical and contemporary contexts, explores models for educators serving Indigenous students, and individuals working with Indigenous communities. Offered Fall.
