SC 22000 - Historical Geology(4)
Investigation of the physical, chemical, and biological processes that have produced the present Earth system, with emphases on the evolution of Earth from the Hadean to the present and on the stratigraphic principles that record that evolution. Dynamics of interactions among the planet’s interior, crust, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere will be explored in lectures, discussions, and laboratory exercises. Lab included.
