Introduction to the interactions between organisms and their environment, both biotic and abiotic. Considers organisms, populations, communities, ecosystems and biomes, and lays the groundwork for more advanced classes in ecology and conservation biology. Simple mathematical models and their analyses are used. Prerequisites: 1 lab science and Statistics, or instructor permission. Offered Spring.
