Overview of information and telecommunications technologies, business models and public policy issues. The emphasis is on attaining basic knowledge of voice and data communications, including circuit switched technologies, data networks, wireless communications, satellite communications, and convergence. Field visits will be utilized for firsthand exposure to these technologies. Offered as needed.
