MBA 65200 - Business Analytics
(3) This course develops a number of tools for analyzing business data, including classical statistical approaches as well as more recent data mining and machine learning methods. Students will learn how to identify and verify important relationships within large data sets and build models useful for decision making. Statistical software will be used that permit data visualization and which automates much of the technical analysis required for these methods. The focus is on evaluating various models, using them to improve decision-making, and effectively communicating data analysis. Offered Spring.
