PY 22100 - Ecopsychology
(4) This course is an introduction to ideas, concepts, and the broad range of literature and research in the interdisciplinary field of ecopsychology. It will include an examination of the diverse cultural practices related to human and environmental interaction, the use of the natural world in community prevention and positive health based strategies, and an introduction to group work utilizing ecology systems. Satisfies SI Social/Behavioral Scientific Inquiry for Foundational Studies. Offered as needed.
