SC 36300 - Introduction to Remote Sensing (4) This course introduces students to the principles and techniques necessary for applying remote sensing to diverse issues within environmental science. The course emphasizes a hands-on learning environment with theoretical and conceptual aspects of satellite remote sensing. Topics include digital image interpretation, analysis, and processing within a GIS environment. Prerequisite: SC 36000 or instructor permission. Offered Fall.
