Liberal Studies Minor

Return to Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Degree Offerings Return to: Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Degree Offerings

A minor in Liberal Studies allows students in other majors to participate in discussions of current philosophical, social, creative, and political issues that are not addressed in more structured programs of study. You can choose to focus on a particular topic such as storytelling, music, fiction, or Biblical study. You might also choose to enhance skills such as oral and written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving which are crucial in all organizations.  The minor consists of 20 credits, which can not be double-counted with Foundational Studies.
