NUR 38500 - Med/Surg II: Transition to Care of the Client with Critical Conditions

(8) This course continues to build upon prior knowledge to further gain an understanding of the nurse’s role in the management of clients requiring critical care, and the link between chronic, acute, and critical conditions. The course encourages a higher level of clinical reasoning in multisystem disorders and explores nursing’s contribution to best health care practice as the student prepares to transition into professional nursing practice. Nursing care issues will be addressed from a physiologic, pathophysiologic, psychosocial, and cultural context.
