ED 47600 - Patnerships, Stakeholders, and Accountability to All


(3) This course interconnects with the structures, theories, strategies and practices of home, community and society creating partnerships between the community and educational institution. The class explores how to develop effective partnerships among families, communities and educators by developing constructive relationships. The course examines research, cultural proficiency, projects, and approaches for working with students and their families and communities. A 20-hour Practicum can include some virtual experiences. Involvement within the community will require students to connect and interact with parents, stakeholders and community members outside the classroom. Offered Spring. Professional Competencies: AKS 1-3, 7-8.
