Liberal Studies Minor
A minor in Liberal Studies allows you to participate in discussions of current philosophical, social, creative, and political issues that are not addressed in more structured programs of study. You can choose to focus on a particular topic such as storytelling, music, fiction, or Biblical study. You might also choose to enhance skills such as oral and written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving which are crucial in all organizations.
To begin the minor, you will meet with an advisor in the Liberal Studies Department and develop your study plan. The minor consists of 20 credits, excluding GURs and other major coursework.
