IS 24200 - Statistical Methods in Research (4) The course will help students acquire an understanding of the analytical methods of conducting scientific research especially in the social, health and behavioral sciences. Topics covered include statistical methods in empirical research, collection and presentation of data, survey sampling, hypothesis testing, multiple regression analysis, general linear model and its limitations, one-way ANOVA. MS-Excel will be used as a data analysis tool. Prerequisite: MT 10100 Intermediate Algebra or BA 10500 Business Math . Offered Fall/Spring. Professional Competencies: PS.
