PY 32500 - Social Psychology (4) A review of classic and more current social psychology research that seeks to reveal patterns of human behavior that may not always be in our conscious awareness. The class looks at issues such as conformity, aggression, self justification, prejudice, liking and loving, and social cognition. Students will be given opportunities to consider implications from the research discussed to their own particular areas of interest. Students will have the opportunity to participate in social psychology experiments/research. Advanced Theory elective for PY Major Studies. Prerequisite: PY 10100 or instructor permission. Offered as needed.
