The B.S. in Health Sciences at APU prepares students to work in health-related fields in several capacities and/or prepares them for graduate study in the health sciences. The program emphasizes cultural safety and is rooted in cultural awareness, cultural competence, and cultural responsiveness. Major studies within Health Sciences are supplemented by one of four concentrations: Pre-Health, Pre-Nursing, Behavioral Health, and Healthcare Management.
