It is an exciting time to be at APU! Our enrollment is growing, we have expanded our curriculum to meet the needs of our students and communities throughout the state, and we continue to develop opportunities for students to be engaged in communities through internships, professional development, research, and service. As an Alaska Native-serving and Tribally governed university, we are committed to integrating Indigenous perspectives, culture, and knowledge into our campus and curriculum. Our beautiful campuses in Anchorage and Palmer remind us of the value of our environment and community as a classrooms. This Academic Catalog describes APU’s distinctive place-based and experiential form of education.
