SC 33300 - Comparative Animal Physiology (4) This course delivers an examination of the diversity of structural and functional characteristics of animals with emphasis on the links between physiology, taxonomy, and ecology and the optimization of physiological function under diverse environmental conditions. Students will gain insights into the mechanisms governing respiration, energy metabolism, thermoregulation, osmoregulation, locomotion, and homeostasis. Prerequisite: SC16100 or SC16200 and SC25000.
