ANS 40200 - Federal Indian Law and Policy Part II (4) The course will cover the statutes that provide much of the body of Federal Indian Law including Public Law 280, The Indian Civil Rights Act, Indian Child Welfare Act, Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, Cultural Resources, Natural Resources, Religion, Tribal Law and Courts, and International Law. Other non-statutory topics will also be covered. Prerequisite: WRIT 20100 - Writing & Research II: Inquiry with a B- or better; For Alaska Native Governance students: ANS 20100 - Alaska Native Governance Systems , ANS 30100 - Alaska Native Rights & the Law , ANS 40100 - Federal Indian Law and Policy Part I .
