HS 38000 - Kinesiology & Biomechanics


(4) This course explores the structure, function, anatomy and biomechanics of human movement. Topics include movement analysis, mechanical systems, movement and injury, and the mechanisms of correct pathological movement in relationship to biomechanics.  Prerequisite: SC 26000 - Human Anatomy and Physiology l SC 26200 - Human Anatomy and Physiology ll HS 19000 - Fundamentals of Biomechanics MT 11000 - Algebra for Health Sciences  or MT 12100 - Precalculus  or MT 22000 - Applied Statistics for Environmental Science  or PY 23100 - Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences   Offered: as needed.
