IS 60000 - Indigenous Health Research (1) This course introduces graduate students to Indigenous ways of knowing and research methods in Alaska Native/American Indian communities including the complementary nature of Indigenous and Western research methods in today’s research environment. The context within which research with AN/AI populations will include the impact of historical trauma, tribal sovereignty, and community-based participatory action research. The research process, research design, data analysis, writing and presenting results will be included. Offered: Summer
