MBA 63400 - Healthcare Policy, Ethics and Law (3) There is an intersection of ethics, policy, and law in the healthcare industry which impacts executives’ decision-making and leadership. Managing healthcare organizations requires professionals to understand this complex relationship and how to navigate the challenges, opportunities, and risks.
Students will critique, dispute and defend diverse stakeholder perspectives examining key laws, regulations and policies that govern healthcare delivery, workforce development, business transactions, contracts, revenues, and community engagement. This course will explore the ethical foundation and legal principles that apply to healthcare organizations and professionals.
